Experience Level: Intermediate
I am a software developer and need to translate texts and messages generated by the software from English to Korean. The texts have been translated to Korean by "Google translate". The resulting texts need to be corrected. Some of the texts are simple (like "OK" or "Cancel"), others slightly longer, but there is nothing requiring literature level translation.
The texts are included in 3 files:
1. Two simple text-file (.txt) with email-messages to be sent to the customer (for example to confirm the successful creation of an account). Not more than 60 lines of partly repetitive text. One file is in English and the other in a machine-translated Korean version. The Korean text should be corrected.
2. an XLS (Excel or OpenOffice Calc) file with text listed in several columns in different languages. The last 2 columns are in machine-translated Korean. Of these 2 columns, the last one should be corrected. There are a total 600+ short texts to be reviewed.
Symbols enclosed in brackets represent placeholders for numbers, names or line feeds and should remain unchanged (example , etc.).
