We are currently seeking a highly experienced and talented telemarketer to generate leads and build relationships with potential clients within the construction industry, in order to help expand our already successful landscaping business.
We operate a Landscaping services business within the South East of England, providing a wide range of services that includes paving, resin bound surfacing, fencing, kerb laying, groundworks, street furniture, play equipment, soft landscaping and artificial surfaces.
The role will involve:
1. Telephoning main contractors, architects and commercial developers operating within our geographical area to offer our landscaping services and build long-term relationships.
2. Telephoning lists of contacts with live landscaping projects in the pipeline and convincing them to give us the opportunity to tender for the work
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent telesales skills with lots of experience
- Has the ability to build relationships and nurture leads
- Has the skills to develop an excellent sales pitch and have the ability to adapt your pitch according to the individual/client
- Has the ability to listen to clients’ needs in order to fully understand them and tailor our services to meet those needs
- Can gather important industry intelligence
- Is able to communicate with potential clients in a friendly but professional manner
- Can act as a credible ambassador for our company
- Can speak fluent English
- Is confident in using, updating and maintaining CRM software
The successful candidate will help us grow our business by sourcing a continuous stream of leads and live construction projects for our estimators to submit tenders for.
We expect the role to be around 8 hours work per week at this stage and if the campaign proves to be successful, this will be on an on-going basis. The successful applicant will begin on the week beginning 4th April 2016 and we are happy to choose one day of the week that suits the candidate.
Experience within the construction industry preferable, although not essential. Please apply by forwarding a copy of your CV, details of a similar role you have performed, pay expectations and why you feel you would be the right candidate.
Hourly rate is negotiable but as a guide we are looking at offering around £17-20 per hour plus bonus incentives.
