Experience Level: Entry
Position: Temporary External Sales Consultant (telephone-based selling)

Based: To operate from own home/premises

Hours: 09.00-17.30, minimum three days/week (negotiable)
Overview of the role

* Responsible for generating new UK business contacts which are not in our database
* Responsible for telephoning HR Managers from our database, and selling an HR benchmarking project
* Secondary task is setting up appointments for our Senior Sales Consultants if face-to-face meetings are required
* Target clients are HR Directors and board members of corporations with 500+ employees. Sales take place in face-to-face meetings with clients and on the telephone.
* Reporting to Regional Director
* Required to attend training and regular update meetings at Borehamwood office in Northwest London


* Can be educated to higher vocational education level, but university degree preferred
Experience and skills required
* Telephone Sales Representative role with “exceptional interpersonal skills developed in a direct customer-facing environment”
* Proven success in cold calling/new business/lead generation environment
* Understanding of business to business and market sector, with knowledge/experience in HR policies and procedures
* Must have good PC Skills: Internet Explorer, Excel, Word and will be required to use our CRM system (training will be provided)


Basic retainer fee negotiable, plus expenses (telephone, travel), and commission on sales
