Join a well established publishing and events company launching a business to business publication for women economic empowerment. The company is looking to have on board Freelance/Independent Sponsorship Sales Manager to work on the Publication's Sponsorship packages.
Job Summary:
The sales manager will be required to work alongside producers and marketers to generate new sponsorship revenue from new and existing clients. As this is a critical role to the success of the business, the candidate needs to demonstrate a strong set of sales qualities, strengths and have an ability to work at own initiative. You need to have experience in one of the following sectors:
Publication Sections:
Micro-finance
Development Finance
Training & Development
ICT & Education
Healthcare
Water & Sanitation
Environment Conservation
Food & Agriculture
Sustainable Development Events
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Selling high value and needs based sponsorship to the international Sustainable Development industries; the candidate needs to be responsible for their own business development initiatives as well as working closely with the conference team to ensure that all revenue opportunities are explored and maximised. The candidate will also be responsible for selling sponsorship on a new Publication and partner virtual events.

Knowledge:
* Has been through and can demonstrate a recognised sales methodology

* Can demonstrate industry knowledge
* Has strong word processing and basic spreadsheet skills
Measurement Indicators:
* High value sponsorship and exhibition contracts
* Good quality written proposals identifying clear needs and solutions
* High level of phone activity and regular client facing face to face meetings
In return you will receive a generous basic commission of 20% commission, Phone excellent, Travel expenses, career progression and other benefits
Excellent Commission of £700 - £1000 per deal
