We are a new insurance brokerage hungry for new business looking for equally hungry and motivated people who want to get on the phones and book us appointments.
We have a lot of USP's which means it should be reasonably easy to book appointments. I will run through these at the end.
There are 2 kinds of appointments that we are looking for:
1. Telephone quote opportunities, these will be for the smaller enquiries, i.e. shops, offices, restaurants etc
2. Face to face meetings with clients paying above 5k worth of premium. (These need to be in the south east of England unless really large then anywhere in the UK)
Firstly, if you are not familiar with the Insurance industry let me explain some of the key factors behind being successful. 99% of businesses have a commercial insurance package. premiums will range from £200 policies to 100k and above. When calling the prospect 2 things will be of vital importance, being close to the renewal date and whether they are happy or unhappy with their current brokers.
We can provide a database but in reality there are prospects everywhere! Our database has around 900 renewal dates.
USPs:
-We are a small brokerage; a lot of clients miss the close personal attention they use to get from small local brokers. Over the last 10 years they have slowly withered away due to the new FSA compliance burden and being bought out by larger brokers.
-If we cannot save 10% on their invited renewal premiums we will work for free for a year. This is subject to us being able to take over their existing policy. No other broker makes an offer of this kind.
-We have access to Lloyds of London meaning we can save ££ of their premiums.
-Our Account Executives have underwriting experience so not only are they technical but know how to negotiate the best deal for you.
Your earnings will be based on confirmed appointments made and earnings.

£1000 and under = £5
£2500 and under = £10
£5000 and under = £20
Face to face meeting
£2500 and above = £25
£5000 and above = £40
£10000 and above = £80
Whats special about this role is that we are offering a share of the earning (10%) for 2 years. And if you are still working for us after 2 years for as long as you continue working for us.
Typically you can book around 5 face to face appointments a week, once you have the renewal dates. Assuming we win 25k of premium this should in turn result in a commission of 5k. Under the deal we would then give you 10% of this commission (£500). Provide we manage to renew the policies after the first 12 months you would get another 10% of the commission for the policies you introduced. If you are still with us after the first 2 years we will continue to give you 10% of the commission for all the cases you have introduced.
The idea is that if you get good you can actually build a book of business from which you can earn good money year after year.
Ideally this would suit someone who is looking for something long term.
