Experience Level: Intermediate
The Sales Consultant is responsible for making webinar style sales presentations to prospects after the appointment setter has established a sales presentation with the prospect. The Sales Consultant is accountable for generating business through new sales and achieving the targeted split of business (Staff Augmentation and Consulting Projects).
Responsibilities
Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales targets.
Use the consultative sales strategy to effectively overcome client objections and maximize sales activity.
Establish and maintain good public relations and networking within the community to develop new business.
Make formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new business accounts.
Collaborate with appointment setter to establish sales presentation schedule.
Collaborate with pre-sales to acquire research for sales presentation schedule.
Interface with appropriate Practice Area Management to establish estimates for clients.
Maintain written documentation of sales activities and report on a weekly basis to President.
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by E2 Consulting Inc./LLC
Experience
Related experience within IT / Technical Sales.
Skills
Strong sales presentation and persuasion skills
Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
Self-Starter
Effective rapport-building and relationship management skills
Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively
