PROJECT SUMMARY
Follow-up calls after Direct Mail sent to 80-100 UK senior marketing professionals to arrange appointments for a software demonstration. This is a trial project. Larger projects will follow.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are a boutique Management Consultancy based in London providing analytic services to marketing departments using our proprietary technology. We will be running a focussed awareness raising campaign with the objective of arranging appointments to see a face-to-face demonstration of our technology and service. From experience, the intelligence we provide has a strong “wow” factor as current systems are unable to provide it.
In Week 1 of the campaign we will send direct mail pieces to 80-100 senior marketing professionals. Each DM piece will have a specific call-to-action – “contact us to see a face-to-face demonstration of our service.”
From Week 2 onwards we need a mature appointment setting expert to make a sequence of follow-up calls to arrange meetings. We will supply the successful bidder with the switchboard telephone numbers of the target companies and the name of the contact. The successful bidder will need to navigate through the company to reach the target, most probably via PA gatekeepers. Meetings with senior people referred by the targets or their PAs are also acceptable. This is not a numbers game, each contact matters. Polite outcomes are essential.
If the targets request a re-send of the Direct Mail material we will handle this via Email (an e-Brochure) as long as an appropriate email address has been collected during the call and passed to us. Alternatively the successful bidder may wish to handle the resends themselves - in which case we will supply an email address. Once the material has been re-sent the follow-up calls will need to continue until a conclusion is reached. The total duration for calling is 15 days.
We will provide a detailed product briefing and light scripting to the successful bidder (via web- or tele-conference) who will then be expected to practice their approach in a return phone call to us soon after. We will then give feedback to help hone the approach.
SELECTION CRITERIA
1. Mature professional, well spoken, smiling voice, politely persistent , not pushy
2. Experience of dealing with senior targets and their PAs
3. Experience of B2B appointment setting ideally in software or technology
DELIVERABLES
1. Appointments
2. Contact Log detailing each calling sequence and outcomes, including any feedback. Each contact needs to be given the opportunity to opt-in to future emails from us (only us). Email addresses should be recorded in the Contact Logs.
DURATION
15 days (not full-time) starting in the week after the Direct Mails have been sent-out. Projected start date for telemarketing is Monday 23 January 2012.
TRIAL PROJECT FEES (inc VAT)
The fees comprise 3 components - Training & Orientation, Telemarketing and Success Fee:
