PR for breakthrough language game
KLOO is a new language game designed to make learning a language faster, easier and a lot more fun. Initial studies show that learners will pick up a foreign language at least twice as fast with KLOO and that the words that they learn are more likely to stick in the memory.
It is a completely new concept based on powerful discovery learning techniques. Using a unique card system players can actually play a host of games. However, at the heart of each game is the need for players to discover the meanings of words and use them in context. This process rapidly builds a base of knowledge to the extent that learners are amazed at how much they have learned. It never feels like work just having fun.
We have launched the website and are going through a testing phase while we improve our message. From June 2010 we wish to formally launch KLOO and create a stir.
KLOO will work for anyone who wants to learn a language and to that extent the PR possibilities are huge. However we feel that some target audiences are particularly relevant:
- Parents teaching children (Parenting, Lifestyle)
- Expat parents teaching their children
- Holiday makers and travellers (Travel, Holiday)
- Schools, Foreign Language teachers and clubs (Education)
KLOO has some advantages in cutting through:
- It is a completely new concept
- It has endorsements of language experts
- It is visual and exciting
- It is a solution to an area of growing and recognised difficulty
- It is the kind of 'play' that is social, interactive and away from a screen
We are looking to bring someone on board to join our small team to generate PR. The prospect needs to have a track record in PR and demonstrate proactivity, creativity and passion. This could become a long term retainer contract however the prospect will be judged on results of the launch. To that extent the prospect must be able to sell in a story and be very results driven.
Proven contacts are of course very useful. We are also looking for someone who relishes the challenge, gets truly excited about achieving amazing results, has confidence to build PR and promotional campaigns.
Reporting to the owner of the business, we are looking for someone who enjoys what they do and believes that work can also be fun.
In the first instance we are offering a 3 month contract after which we will review. If successful we anticipate extending the contract to a monthly on-going retainer.
