I am the director of a general insurance company established 15 years ago.

we are a small family run business with 5 people and we are more boutique rather than your high street type of operation.

we have 2 pronged project, someone can take on both or one.

both could incorporate the following:-

- you tube channel / videos
- animated adverts/cartoon type that everyone seems to be doing
- social media, twitter, facebook, linkedin
- seo, ppc
- Need landing pages
- Analytics and split testing see what is working
- Remarketing
- Display marketing
- Review copy on site, email campaigns, presentations, landing pages etc
- PR and forming alliances with appropriate people and companies, agents of celebs/sports, licenced trade committees, flood, landlords
- plus any other necessary avenues suggested

80% of our business is Landlords/portfolio insurance (40%) and business insurance (40%)
we cant compete with budgets of the big boys out there in such a competitive market so we need to explore options...we have online quoting facilities for our clients on our website
selling points are our expertise in the industry and personal service, all our business is built on referrals, we do not advertise
we have an exclusive in house underwriting facility to bind cover and quote and the kicker is if the client does not claim, the premium goes to charity (Salvation Army)

we are targeting celebs/high net/sports personalities for their Home/Car/Investments properties Insurance (not personal accident) we have a hollywood actor who has provided testimonial and we are aiming to have half a dozen other, hopefully with testimonials by April this year and would like to create a brand awareness linked to oncover regarding our personal service for these type of clients
maybe contact footy agents/celeb agents
is there a search conducted for these types of insurance for such clients, what would be the best course of action?



Our niches are

Leisure insurance, restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels - we have great testimonials

Landlords, 1-1000 properties – in house underwriting

Home and landlords in flood areas – in house underwriting


I need to understand costs and end game eg, are we driving traffic, creating leads, appearing high on ranks, speaking to agents etc

I don’t have a large team of sales people so cant have 1000’s of enquiries coming in, more quality leads , higher turnover businesses, so people call us because of our reputation too and we appeal to higher net clients

I want my/oncovers reputation to lead the way for personal service, problem solving, going over and above normal course of duty etc for these type of clients.

We are good at what we do so hence why not take on higher income producing clients instead of 1000’s of smaller policies.
