UK based company is an independent supplier of IT hardware and software. From the company\'s office in Bristol
We are seeking an External Sales Account Manager who has ambition, drive and motivation to succeed. You should show tenacity and be able to work well under pressure.
Develop and manage professional, strategic and productive business relationships telephone conversations.
- An awareness of all potential business and any issues that may effect the overall sales and profitability.
- Proactive cold calling to generate new accounts.
- Build and develop account profiles for all accounts, giving all relevant account information and quarterly plans.
- Provide regular, accurate forecasts of pipeline business to the Sales Manager.
Regular achievement of all targets and KPI\'s.
- Proactively inform customer base of all market and vendor information to include new products & services, price changes and promotions.
- Establish close business relationships with the customer at all levels/ departments.
- Work closely with external sales people to develop account relationships.
- Ensure product knowledge is upto date.
Previous track record in sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good grammatical and numerical skills.
- IT knowledge would be a preference.
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and mail packages.
