There are 83 newsagents and 58 convenience stores in Hull according to Yell. Nearly all provide a customer notice board that allows an ad to be displayed for a nominal 25p-50p per week. You will be provided with the ad in A6 format (promoting help for the financially overburdened). You will need to pre-pay the advert for 2 months at the prevailing rate (discounts can be negotiated for long periods). You will be provided with an excel spreadsheet listing names and addresses of the outlets, plus a Google map with a push pin for each outlet making your route planning easy. In Googlemaps http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl type in newsagents in Hull in the search box for an example. We will provide a reasonable float for the weekly ad fee if required. You will be paid when we receive the till receipts from the shop for the ad fee - not unreasonably that gives us evidence that the premises has been visited and the ad placed.

A related project to place A5 flyers in takeaways in Hull is also available -that will require some selling skills to persuade the takeaway owner to have the leaflets on his counter for free - any business that arises from an enquiry will generate a commission to the owner and to you. You will need to undertake restocking for a 3 month period.

Please bid on the price per address (approx 140). Clearly this is ideally suited to someone living in or near Hull! Other neighbouring towns may follow.
