Hi I have just written my first book. It is at the printers now, but I need help with marketing the work. It is entitled "Bluebirds 2 Wembley - again!" and is an illustrated record of the quest for the golden prize in football, the FA Cup. It takes the reader right through from the Club's inception in 1899 to the 2008 Final against Portsmouth. It is packed with details, facts, profiles, and much more. It contains a 20 question quiz with a prize of a season ticket to the new Ninian Park stadium in Cardiff. I am also making a donation of 15% of sales to the Cardiff City Football Academy and the Football in the Community project, the brain child of Steve Young, an ex-Cardiff City player. The project encourages disadvantaged children to make their way in the world, using the medium of football.

I am having an initial print run of 2,500 copies but have difficulty in finding the right cntacts to approach. I have needed to self-publish, as it is almost impossible for a new writer to be taken on by one of the big publishng houses. I have a budget of almost zero, so need a kind hearted benefactor who is willing to take a gamble with the anticipated sales of the book. There are 31,000 supporters at the Club, and I have carried out lots of market research and have it on authority that there could be as many as half of the fans will buy the book. There is a unique section where I have got the personal views, memories and comments from many loyal supporters of the Club, via a questionnaire that my family distributed and collected before the Final in May. I have kept them in their own words, and makes brillient reading. It is unlike anything currently on the market, of which most is hugely out of date. Can you help please? This is a totally new concept to me, my son came across the site quite by accident, and I think it is fantastic.
