We are a small but friendly London based training company looking for someone to deal with our business development function for the international market with focus on Asia & Africa. The successful bidder will have a good command of English and a minimum of two years experience in selling training services. The bidder should feel confident to research on the internet to generate leads.
Main Duties:
• To develop new customers through the primary activity of research and cold calling
• Construct and implement a key account plan for new customers
• To create and develop new business opportunities within AME (Africa & Middle East) market
• To expand sales to existing customers by identifying additional needs
• To take a lead role in the new account sales process, coordinating various resources to develop the opportunity pipeline, qualify prospects, and successfully close business
• Research, generate, qualify and follow up leads
• Make appointments and manage customer meetings effectively and in a focused way
• Monitor and maintain customers to ensure consistent delivery of business within targets
• Provide best practice advice and policies to all customers
Person specification
The successful bidder will be a team player who is be expected to demonstrate:
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven track record and experience in business direct channels
• Substantial and successful track record Sales of training services
• Experienced in developing new revenue streams by wining new customers of all sizes/profiles
• and across multiple sectors
• Proven ability to consistently deliver sales targets and sales activity levels
• Strong negotiation and account management skills
• Strong evidence of achieving targets
• Minimum 2 years experience in selling training services
• Ability to work on his/her own initiative with minimal supervision
• A mature and flexible attitude
• A friendly and approachable manner
The anticipated duration of this project is approximately 10 hours/week. The hours will increase and so will the salary as time goes on and the company grows.
