Position Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for direct marketing/online marketing to identify, win and develop business opportunities in new and existing markets. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of organisational ability, multi-tasking skills, a pro-active capability, the ability to work on their own initiative and will possess well-developed oral and written communication skills as the role will involve speaking with companies at director/senior level.
Key Responsibilities:
 Finding/Researching potential clients/leads
 Promoting our services to blue chip clients and their agencies via face-to-face presentations, email and telephone
 Providing a \"solution service\" for clients
 Developing and distributing client proposals
 Conducting meetings with prospective clients
 Promoting the benefits of permission based email marketing within a direct marketing, direct sales context
 Maintaining up to date information on prospects and clients on the company\'s contact database
 Ensuring that all clients\' campaigns are running smoothly and in accordance with the clients\' objectives
 Giving a weekly commentary to management on sales performance, prospect management, lead sourcing and work activity rates
 Exceeding monthly targets
 Managing and growing accounts
 Closing deals
Individual requirements / Skill
We are looking for an individual with the following skills:
 Strong sales skills-An interest in business, developing projects and delivering project, Experience of selling services or products to the public or businesses be an advantage
 Knowledge of traditional/online media and direct marketing
 Excellent Relationship builder
 Mathematically sound
 IT literacy- able to work with Microsoft Office programmes •word, excel & PowerPoint
 A confident outgoing person, who is good on the telephone
 Outgoing, self motivated and driven individual
 Professional attitude towards client services are essential
 You will have good attention to detail and presentation skills.
 Driving Licence and own transport desirable as the role may involve client visits
 Flexible
 Self starter, Independent thinker with determination to succeed
 A good researcher
 You will be both Organised & Methodical -good at multi tasking and time management
 Work on their own initiative or as part of a team
