Description
Experience Level: Expert
We now require an experienced Market Researcher to provide the information to take our product from prototype to the market place. The Market Researcher role will be to:
• Build on the initial market research carried out
• Conduct qualitative research into the buying procedures of the target audience
 Propensity to purchase on line HR systems
 Known brands that are ‘ top of mind’
 Frequency and time for year for purchase
 Capital versus operational expenditure
 How they store information on new products
 Key events, exhibitions attended
 Sources of procurement
 Use of web
 Key information required of web pages etc.
• Provide detailed market analysis information such as market segmentation, lead customers
• Make recommendations on a Market Entry Strategy including an action plan for the initial 6 month period
Essential
The successful applicant will be:
• Knowledgeable about the target market, particularly UK & Ireland public sectors and contact centres
• Able to provide examples of previous work of this nature carried out with references and sample reports including Market Entry Strategies
• Able to demonstrate significant market research experience in bringing new products into these markets, with particular preference for those with experience of providing the market intelligence to bring new web based products to market
• Able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of web-based HR/Training/Learning/ Employee products.
Please note that I will only be considering bids submitted by Friday 26th August 2011 as the successful bid will be part of a funding application for a business start-up. So experience at this level is also of benefit.
The product is an on-line system relating to HR & learning & development which I hope to be bringing to market next spring. Initial market research has already been carried out and will be available to the successful bidder.
