We're a global organisation specialising in the translation and interpreting marketplace and we are currently looking for a Business Development Manager with professional experience in that sphere. The successful applicant is to ensure the smooth maintenance and development of relationships with existing customers within their Industry with the aim of ensuring satisfaction with our service, knowledge of the industry and an expansion of revenue. We are looking for candidates based in the United Kingdom.

Role Structure
Our Business Development Manager position is based within in our Sales department. The Sales team is the engine room of profit driven roles, operating internationally and driving sales from strong product knowledge and innovation forward to continue to succeed. A positive working environment with a hunger for success puts this department ready for action amongst the most fierce in the Industry!
Key Responsibilities
Accountabilities
With a focus on new business development to generate and qualify leads and respond to customer enquiries
New business relationship generation
Responsible for own lead generation
Attention to detail when capturing and exploring new sales opportunities
Managing and maintaining own pipeline
Responding to requests for tender and information in a timely manner
Using our customised software, develop a database for contacts, activities, and results
Work with Project Managers and follow up with customers to assure satisfaction
Essential Skills Required
Skill set
Proven management experience of new business generation and achieving sales revenue of £500K +
Track record in team development, including the ability to maximise skills and identify learning needs
Proven ability to successfully manage a portfolio of customer accounts
Good communication skills, verbal and written
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Self motivated and logical individual
Ability to prioritise work
Demonstrate the necessity of human translations, and the importance of Premier Language's expertise, quality and ethics.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the translation industry
Desirable Skills
Skill set
Detailed knowledge of File Types
Experience within the Translation, Localization and Interpreting Industry
Solid proven experience in a vertical industry e.g. Technology, Finance, Legal,Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Public Sector

Because of the changing nature of our business you will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by Management.
This role may will include global travel to our respective offices and/or customers approximately once per quarter.
