Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for a bright, articulate salesperson, with entrepreneurial flair for a new business publication that is targeted at the ethnic minority enterprise owners and professioners. The magazine is a bi-monthly with a monthly digital edition.
You should be an experienced professionals who have worked in similar position with mainstream media.
A knowledge of minority community is ideal but not essential.
We are providing an excellent opportunities to make above standard rate of commission on sales
Key Duties will include
• Implement a sales strategy agreed with the Publishing Director to achieve sales targets.
• Liaising with production/editorial services to ensure the smooth placement of advertisement/advertorial.
The Ideal Candidate
A background in display and classified ads with a professional approach. This could be a great opportunity for you to work on an exiting project.
You’ll also have the following;
• Sales experience is essential.
• Publishing sales experience is an advantage
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to learn quickly and to be proactive.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external clients.
• Conscientious and analytical.
• Ability to take responsibility and work autonomously
