I run a small Architecture practice and we are looking for help with marketing in order to gain more work with Property Developers who are building developments of houses and flats.
We already have in place a Branding Document describing our mission statement, value proposition (specific to the property development sector), core values, and all of this is worked out in a visual identity, style and logo. (All of these are workable for the moment. They could be improved in future but I’m not looking to work on these at this time except perhaps minor adjustments.)
We have experience of doing architecture work in the Property Development sector. We have a reasonable understanding of the target market, our product offering, and the competitiveness and profitability of it. (Again, these could be improved but do not need work at this stage).
Where I need help is in developing how we reach new potential clients through channels and messaging:
I have brainstormed some ideas for ways to connect with Developers and have some initial ideas but would like someone to work with me to more thoroughly look at a range of ideas and define those that will work best for our situation and skills.
I expect that the main focus will be on connecting with professionals who are company directors or key decision makers in small-medium sized property development companies so I am looking for a marketer who has experience of the marketing of services to professionals.
In addition to looking at those channels I also need help with copy writing and formulating the communication of the message. This should include guidance on what format and what use of language would be best.
This may, for example, include writing a brochure and/or sales letter (if it is decided that they are a good format to use to reach the audience).
The business already has a website, for which new copy and/or layout may need to be written if it is thought necessary.
It is not essential for you to have graphic design skills as layout work can be procured from someone else where required. The focus is on creating a message tailored to reach the audience, and a means of getting the message out.
The approaches to both channels and messaging should ideally be part of a sales pipeline strategy that covers how we identify potential clients and then take them through to eventual transaction.
A successful candidate should:
Have experience of the marketing of services to professionals.
Be UK based.
Have excellent English language skills.
It would be helpful if you could give an example of where you have done a similar kind of work.
Work can be fixed price or hourly rate.
