We are a leading supplier of a proven and innovative advertising program that is designed to deliver compelling value to local and regional advertisers by connecting them with new customers through our own brand of print and online platforms as well as select premium online channels.

We are in the process of changing our sales model from an indirect to a direct to advertiser model.

We are looking for an experienced advertising sales executive who has a background in print and online display advertising/directory sales as well as an understanding of online propositions, %u201Cbeyond banner advertising%u201D, to conduct a market feasibility test/lead generation program.

Project Description

We would like to target 40-50 small and medium sizes businesses in a larger county in the South East of England (Southampton or Kent preferably) or the East of England (Essex or Cambridge preferably) or simply in a location where good prospects are the easiest and quickest to acquire.

The primary goal will be to generate a list of qualified leads while testing the appeal and value of the program and its various components. The contractors main activity will be to source prospects, set appointments and conduct face to face meetings to present the advertising program.

If the feasibility test/lead generation is successful there will be an immediate opportunity to contract for permanent employment and to be involved in the launch of the business in the UK if the fit is right for both parties.

The successful contractor should have a minimum of four years of field sales experience selling display advertising, new media products or directory products into small and medium size retail and service businesses.

Someone with existing or recent customer contacts will be ideal. Contacts in other media especially specifically radio would also be an advantage.

You will be very people orientated with excellent presentation skills and the ability to implement the project in an efficient and effective manner.
