We're seeking a talented, experienced and self-motivated sponsorship sales professional to assist us through a particularly busy period (October to end of March), selling to and managing the sponsors to our Reports and Events.
As a business we produce 'opinion reports' for financial service professionals, publications produced in tandem with professionals at large investment companies who make asset allocation decisions about their groups investable capital. Our Reports are sponsored by investment companies, financial technology companies, and consultants.
The new Partner Development Manager (PDM) will work alongside the company CEO to help expand the number of clients who sponsor our Reports. The PDM will primarily call upon past clients and contacts in the UK and continental Europe, previously overseen by the CEO or previous sales people.
For the role to be successful, it needs to be filled by a candidate with established sales pedigree in an area of media sponsorship sales for an events company or B-2-B publication.
The role is suitable for someone with an established record selling advertising or sponsorship media, ranging in sales value from £5,000 - £40,000.
The budget quoted is based on £24 per hour base salary and commission at 10% of all sales generated with a target of at least £39,000 in new revenue in the 6 months period (equivalent to an extra £15 per hour on top of the £24 base).
