Here are the responsibilities:
Digital marketing
For this i would like you to set up & monitor ads - I already have accounts for all these channels but I would like for you to monitor progress & analytics - provide me a report. I have an estimated budget for each of these channels per month which I will fund personally. As a digital marketing manager I know you understand that targeting the right audience is crucial - so before these go live we must have a target audience plan as well as the best keywords (which you can track with google analytics - i do not want keywords that have a low search rate)
Google Adwords (est actual £55/ month budget) - i have a £80 voucher for this (activates when i spend over £40)
LinkedIn Ads (est actual £100/month budget)
Facebook Ads (est actual £55/month budget)
Instagram Ads (est actual £35/month budget)
Social media management
For this I expect you to upload content & pictures (I have all the pictures & content, i will send them to you!!). I expect only 1-2 posts per week - just social media posts (so basically one post copied to each social media channel) -easy work

• Managing the different social media channels.
• Participating and initiating conversations across different social media channels.
• Consuming, creating and sharing relevant content with internal & external communities.
• Monitoring and analyzing conversations, social media activities.
• Assisting in planning and implementation of strategic social media campaigns & apps.
From the online marketing & social media management I would like you to produce 1 analytic report a month of progress, conversion rate, interactions, increase in likes, followers, etc

Hi, Thanks so much for your response.
Yes That is correct. But I wouldn’t say you’re working setting everything up from scratch.
I have 6 variation ads already set up on google (not active) – I just need someone to do an analysis of keywords with highest click rate to get me the most visibility (keyword planner) & apply them – naturally these ads won’t all be active at the same time but I included a variation of action to “call phone” and “go to website” to use as an when necessary.
If you haven’t looked at my website yet, here’s a little background on my brand: we’re a modern private catering business offering, gourmet night in packages, private chef services, & B2B partnerships with corporate (employee lunch plan where the business gets a cut of the profits) – so our keywords will mostly be similar-ish.
Facebook & Instagram ads are very straightforward having used them in the past – of course the success of the campaign depends on selected target audience, but that’s relatively easy to decipher.
LinkedIn Ads is will be very simple, there is probably only going to be 1 ad that you have to set up & will be running continuously here – naturally to promote our B2B partnership scheme (as most businesses use this network)
The management of the social channels is to post twice a week only (I will provide pictures and content every 2 weeks for the following 2 weeks) – and these can just be replicated on each channel (pretty much a copy & paste job)
As far as my budget I am currently aiming for:

Digital marketing/ social media manager (£155/ month fixed fee) – I know this won’t be a quick job, that’s why this is an ongoing position
In total I will be spending £400 / month on advertising a month. Whilst I hope to increase my budget in the future (When I launch in Feb 2019) considering the cost of the ads on a monthly basis, I have to limit myself to what I can afford & also see if the professional hired actually gets results (we’ve all been disappointed by results in the past..)
But of course if you get us results, in the future there would be no reason why we wouldn’t adjust your compensation naturally
