Hi all
Our company is called World Options and we are in the parcel delivery industry. More recently our business has begun to franchise the model which is going extremely well. My name is Lance and part of my responsibility is Media and Marketing, more specifically dealing with our nine franchise directories which we pay to promote our business e.g. WhichFranchise.com, Franchise Direct etc
The difficulty I face is time, these directories want news updates on a weekly basis along with Case Studies and Facebook and Twitter articles. We know that optimising our entries is essential to our growth however our rapid growth is preventing us from growing even more, hence the reason I need help.
I've identified articles to be written but the list is endless. The articles are short and punchy and for a writer could be churned out quickly, essentially this will be bread and butter work rather than ground breaking journalism, but a combination would be nice:)
Even though we're involved in quite a serious business, our franchisees are fun loving people, so quirky and witty writing styles would be welcome.
Dependant upon which article you're writing we'll be happy to provide telephone numbers so you can ask questions direct to the person you're writing about. You'll also be asked to go back and revisit previous articles to update their current financial situation.
Regarding payment we'd like to be paying £8 per hour, which is probably enough time for one 400 - 500 word short article. For case studies we'd allow more time to complete but would still be based on £8 per hour.
The PDF attached has some of the proposed article headings but like I said this will be ongoing.
