We are looking for an enthusiastic person with strong Sales & Marketing and networking skills who would be interested in working on a commission/fee sharing basis to establish an already successful South African Strategic Advertising and Promotions business in the UK/Europe. In South Africa, the company trades under the name and has secured a range of accounts with companies such as SABMiller, Mars, Coca Cola, Shell, Total, Cadburys, SA Highways Agency and others.

In the UK, we plan to trade as (see attachment).

The basic Brand Acumen offer is:

1. Strategic advice and support for companies wanting to improve the sales, market share and profitability of their brands. (here we draw on our substantial strategy consulting experience through VBMC)
2. Development and management and delivery of high quality, cost competitive advertising and promotional campaigns, (including Point of Sale material, Television ads, radio ads, events, promotional product procurement, %u2026 etc).

In most cases we can deliver these services at about 30-40% less cost than UK and European competitors. Our ability to do this is due to the nature of our business model which involves much lower overheads than the traditional agencies such as O&M, JWT etc.

I believe that this will appeal to clients who are seeking to minimise A&P costs, whilst maintaining their share of voice, and enhancing brand awareness and image through strategically/commercially focused, high quality, innovative campaigns. By %u2018strategically/commercially focused%u2019, we mean campaigns that are built around a clear understanding of the key value drivers of the brand and of the factors that drive/influence the behaviour of target market/customers.

Given the more challenging economic climate that companies are facing at the present time, we are offering clients the opportunity to significantly cut selling costs without damaging their position in the market place.

Our success with blue chip clients such as SABMiller, Coca Cola and Shell is due to the fact that we deliver at least equivalent (though usually superior) standards of quality and client service relative to the traditional agencies.

Although all the design and creative work e.g. production of TV ads, design and development of promotions etc takes place in SA, all projects are managed from the UK and clients here have local points of contact with both strategic and design specialists, who work with them to define the brief and to review outputs at each stage of the production process etc.
