Description
Experience Level: Entry
We are a new fast growing social media / blog website for London with a following that increases by 800 new Londonders per month (currently on 4500 followers 97% of which are Londonders). Our Twitter service is dedicated to helping Londonders discover new exciting things to do and see in their nearby area.
As we increase we find we are asked between 10 and 20 local questions per day, many of which our own followers answer but we are struggling to answer them all and need an assistant whose sole task is to focus on this activity.
You need to have lived in London and have good knowledge of the areas and been a social enthusiast. You also need to have your smartphone so you can access and operate Twitter and Tweet Deck, and be able to have this on all day and keep on the look out for these questions, with an aim to answer them as quickly as possible. You will have assistance in this from 2 other team members.
We also have a list of 5000 of our favourite businesses in the central London boroughs which can assist you in making suggestions, you would need to also use Google or any other review site to help out.
This is a very good opportunity to get involved in a new fast growing local social media start up and you will gain great experience. As there are no set times of work and it's more about being reactive to ad hoc questions, this would probably suit a student and it will be an added bonus if you are already experienced in Twitter and have an active local following.
We are budgeting for 14 hours per month in total (30 mins per day assisting in answering questions) and for this our budget only allows us to pay £7 per hour max (£98 per month). Our service is free and our website does not charge for membership so we are running on zero revenue.
You will need to get involved with the daily team activities, (you need to be very reactive on your smartphone as questions are asked while people are on the go).
We look forward to receiving your bids.
