Description

I have designed the page templates of the website in photoshop, these files are ready to be sliced and integrated into a functioning website. The two template designs are very simple, one page is the home page and the other is the 3 column template for all of the other pages in the website.
There is a simple main navigation with left column sub navigation. These menus are not at all complex. There are also simple styled breadcrumbs for each page.
I require a website search function to search for specific content on the website. I also require an artwork upload function for clients wishing to upload the designs for us to retrieve.
It is up to you if you want to build the site as a CMS or otherwise, my main concern is being able to edit content and add new pages and content without much effort. Obviously, if I added pages and content that would mean being able to add sub navigation items to link to the pages.
The designs are self-explanatory and you will be able to judge what is required from them. I have fleshed out most pages and the content, and as I have mentioned the site will not be complicated for someone to construct if they are a competent web designer/developer.
The most complicated aspect of the site will be the portfolio section. I am currently using Joomla for my website and I have a portfolio module that I like. I want to be able to replicate this module design and function with the new website, link here - http://www.sorbamedia.com/index.php?option=com_mmportfolio&view=projects&category_id=-1&Itemid=26. You will need to design and create this function or something very similar.
Other than what has been mentioned there will be need for two contact forms and SEO optimisation. It goes without saying that I would like the site to meet all current web standards and be cross browser compatible.
Please only bid if you feel you can complete this project to an acceptable standard. I have had so many bad experiences with web designers saying that can deliver and then they provide me with something that falls far below a reasonable standard, and I have paid in excess of £1800 before so price doesn’t always guarantee quality or an acceptable standard.
I am more than happy to talk you through the project by phone. I will need progress updates and would like to see the progress so we can stay on the right track. This will mean putting the work in progress on a web server of your own so I can view.
Happy bidding and many thanks!
