Description

Experience Level: Expert
Estimated Job duration: less than 1 week
Ideas for the visual style: This is a UX wireframes job, not UI design
Extra notes: This job is for a pure specialist in UX design, not UI.

Here are the criteria for applying. I am looking for a UX designer who can please give me:

a) A lot of great reviews/stars from happy PPH customers for whom it must be obvious that the work you did was UX-centred, not UI centred.

OR

b) References from your last five UX jobs (referee name, position and telephone number). These must clearly be UX-centred jobs, not UI centred.

And, regardless of whether you provide a) or B):

c) At least one referee who can confirm that you have watched actual users using websites.

If you’re an agency, the job is still just for one person in order to keep our costs down and the references must be specifically about work that UX designer has done by him/herself.

Here’s a brief job description. I'll send you the full description if this sounds like the right job for you.

This job involves three tasks:

Task 1) Wireframes for a complicated funnel process, whereby the customer must complete an online form, then view information, then call up extra information and finally click on an external link.

As a start-up we want to save money, so wireframes can be hand-drawn sketches (or similar) that are scanned in if it will save you time.

As part of that task I also have several specific UX questions that I would also really like your opinions on.

Task 2) A little UX design appraisal of some lightboxes.

Task 3) Your ideas on how we can bury some complicated data tables and reports on our website from most of our (inexpert) users while leaving them accessible to a significant minority of expert users who will want to be able to find them.

The website is a data and news website related to the peer-to-peer lending industry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peer-to-peer_lending

Just to show me that you’re smart enough to read instructions thoroughly, when you contact me for the first time please put “Iteration 2″ in the first line of your response.

I expect that we'll discuss how much time this should take and agree a price based on an hourly rate.
