Description

Experience Level: Expert
Hi all,

I'll just give a quick overview of my thoughts so you can put together a submission, obviously all the finer details can be discussed later, but I'm assuming the more information the better at this point?

Can I have your ideas for:
1. Brochure style = this is my current website which is a simple portfolio and is now too restrictive www.amandaherbert.com. My contract expires in April 2012.

2. Client log in & blog = I love this website and any thing similar would be great http://www.randolphwilcox.co.uk/ I'll also want to be able to write text on the home page to help with SEO.

3. Dream website = ideally I want this site (or a bespoke design that is virtually the same), but am unsure if I simply need someone to host and help set it up for me? http://themeforest.net/item/dandelion-powerful-elegant-wordpress-theme/136628

Goals in order of priority:
1. Rebrand and generate a business site (for April 2012)
2. Present a business 'shop window' (for April 2012)
3. Have all social media tied in together (for April 2012)
4. Have a blog within the same site (for July 2012)
5. Client log-in (in a years time)
6. Ecommerce - (2 year goal and could be built after the initial website is made)

I am also hoping to keep my domain name, email forwarding via contact page, customer testimonials that the clients can write and use the same logo & have a site that is iphone/ipad friendly?

Finally, I want the website to be accessible to tweaking and not closed to future adaptations via the sourcecode. I want to be able to separate the building / maintenance issues to avoid confusion in the future.

Phew - looking forward to hearing from you all! Mandy
