Hi,

Devoloper required to overcome my last hurdle with the creation of a custom search process that enables my Buddy Press users to easily search for other Buddy Press members based upon information stored in their profiles. End goal is to create a search form (possibly Formidable Forms Pro) where users can pick desired attributes from a selection of dropdown meus and tick boxes. These search options relate directly to xprofile custom fields originally inputed when a Buddy Press member setups up their intial profile during registration, all stored in Wordpress SQL backend.

Once search attributes have been selected within search form and user clicks ‘submit’ I need the form to trigger a database search/query into WP/BP SQL xprofile fields, and return best fit/exact fit Buddy press member profile and display results within front end page.

There are similar plugins such as BP Profile Search already available however more of a ‘matching`function, doesn’t offer much `and`/ `or` flexibility and doesnt handle multiple fields for example, I need to search across 4 custom fileds `status`, `skills`, `state/county` and `country`.

In terms of displaying search results in BuddyPree front end, I need result to replicate format BP profile Search presents results i.e list of relative Buddy Press members profile pages, it would be great to also incorporate a field dispalying a percentage match i.e `profile 90% matched`, `profile 35% matched`

So in summary their are a few elements to this process. Keen to get moving on this asap, please contact me with any questions or to bid.

1) Qualify search from with sql plugin suppport 2) Search sql xprofile fields and return results 3) Display results in Buddypress front end

Thanks, Gareth
