We require a new web page / google entry wording which we can alter in house to offer seasonal offers and up to date testimonials and which is simply going to bring more business . We also need to be able to finely tune these sites to make our services more relevant to this sector of the market.

Our present Web Page is and have registered .com and are part of Scotchcare Services which are a group of specialist cleaners operating throughout the UK under this heading . Please read the information on our website as it will give you an idea of who we are, what we do etc.

As we operate throughout the Northwest of England we have set up Google entries for most of the large towns in our area for both Competent Cleaners and Scotchcare Services. They are Chester, Wirral, Southport, Liverpool, Southport, warrington, St Helens, Manchester, Salford, Altrincham, Sale, Stockport, Macclesfield, Northwich, Crewe, Stoke on Trent, Telford, Shrewsbury, Wrexham and Rhyl and all these entries have a LOCAL tel no. The result is we are at the top of google ranking in most searches for carpet cleaning or upholstery cleaning /or curtain cleaning.

One of our concerns is whilst we have about 3 internet enquiries / day which are generated through Google,, Web page and the links that they have set up and also have registered in ourselves in most of the local search fascilities ie Kelly local, Ufindus, etc etc

The frustration is that not only are the enquiries very low considering our exposure but that the conversion rate on these enquiries is very low. Whilst we do encourage people to contact us by phone when they do contact us by e mail they tend to be price shopping and have specific requirements ie bedroom carpet 12 x 12 and leave a mobile number for a call back which when we ring back is rarely answered meaning we have to leave a message. Most of our competitors are cheaper than us and even though we do not sell ourselves on price regrettably most internet enquiries use price as the most important part of decision making. The example of the bedroom carpet 12 x 12 our competitors would charge around £40 but we have a minimum charge of £58.75 which has enabled us to stay in busiiness 32 years.

Our new web page / Google entry needs to be able to find a way of portraying quality with price but if we use £58.75 needs to find a way of getting them to spend that extra amount ie £18.75 and feel that they are getting value for money. One thought is to link the job with a time element ie 1 hours work for £58.75 (which includes setting up and packing away equipment) but that for that extra money not only could they get their bedroom carpet cleaned but within that time scale they could also have other items cleaned ie stain on carpet , dining chairs, dirty arm on suite, cat / dog basket, rug, dirty finger marks on curtain etc etc . Before they contacted us they would be able to consider this concept and look around their house for other items to fit in these parameters.

Also need to stress that our method of cleaning is very different than most other cleaning companies so that setting up and packing away equipment takes very little time. Our £10000 cleaning machines stays in the van, we bring our own water pre heated water and just plug in our machine and all we bring into the house are hoses and tools for carrying out the cleaning . Very little noise and disruption and items left touch dry when we are finished and all items of furniture put back in their original position.

On our Web we need to have a testimonial page which can be updated in house giving comments regarding how wonderful this concept proved ie that they looked at just having their bedroom carpet cleaned but because Competent Cleaners were so experienced and efficient that within one hour they were able to freshen up other areas around their house ie stin on setee and stain by back door where the cat had been sick, grubby hand mark on curtain etc and felt this gave extreme value for money or words to that effect.

When we first looked at Google advertising they gave an examples of how you could have different Home Page which alternated and by using google stats you could determine which was working best and alter wording etc accordingly.

An exciting project but one that requires some thought . Initially I would suggest reading carefully the brief but then contacting me by e mail to fill in the missing parts as it is impossible to convey the direction we need to be heading in without some input from experienced designers who may be able to offer other options which will achieve the same goal but which we simply have not thought about
