Logo for new project

We have developed a mailing plug-in for Wordpress, and require a logo which encapsulates the product and service we offer.

Competitor products are Mailchimp and Mailpoet, so we feel some kind of creature would be the way to go.

I've attached something we had done which is in the right direction, but the staring eyes are a bit spooky, and I'd rather see something that suggests motion, speed and efficiency.

Can you let your imagination run away and come up with a killer logo?
