Logo design for a netball team

Information for the business: netball classes with little people in mind
Industry: Sports and Fitness
Type of logo: Word mark, Emblem
Brand name/slogan in logo: Mini Netters / netball for little people
Ideas for the visual style: something that obviously relates to the sport - netball posts, netball, position names, cartoon or stick characters, something nice and modern
Preferred colors: pinks, bright blues, but fairly open to including darker colours for contrast
Where the design will be used: website, merchandise, sports clothing
Extra notes: at this stage I'm fairly open to the logo type but I am preferably looking at emblem and word marks. I would like 2-3 diff styles to select from. The company name is Mini Netters and our slogan is - netball for little people
Classes are aimed at 3-9 year olds, so something that appeals to this age audience would be great
