I need a logo for a Systems Administration web

I would like someone to design a logo for a web project that I'm starting.

The conditions will be the following:
- I will provide the name of the application to the person that I choose. It should be enough to say that it's a private development for sysadmins.
- The logo must be clean, minimal, with few colors and lines.
- The freelancer should use only free and/or open-source font(s) (i.e. not proprietary) so I can use them too in the rest of the project.
- The freelancer should provide at least 2 (TWO) designs, using two or (max) three colors of their choice. I will ask you why did you choose a particular combination. NOTE: I don't need a branding service, this question will just allow me to determine if I can use the palette in my web design; also, I am not asking for big creativity in this point, I will be happy with "stereotypical" combinations, so to say.
- I will need the logo by the end of the year. As you might see, I'm not asking for a big job, it's just the logo and the project itself is not big.

Oh, and I forgot, I am a freelance web programmer, so that's who you will work for.
