Description
Experience Level: Entry
Information for the business: A website to allow people sell and trade video games
Type of logo: Emblem
Brand name/slogan in logo: GameDealers
Number of revisions: 3
Ideas for the visual style: Attached is a drawn example as an idea.
Where the design will be used: Web page, stationary, business cards.
Extra notes: Attached is a quick image I drew but would never be able to convert it to a digital graphic so I'm looking for someone on the Internet that can. The image is just an example and if you think you have a better idea then please feel free to voice your opinion as I'm not a designer. The website will allow people to buy, sell and swap video games (hence the name game dealer) and if you can come up with a better logo to express that then fire ahead. The image atached has an old name that I was thinking about calling the website. This will need to be changed to the newer name GameDealers as stated above. There is only one other catch. After some research I discovered that NAMCO (the company who own the PacMan image) are very strict about his use so you will need to remove him from the logo all together or modify him enough so it can't be copyright enfringement. The the logo will have to contain the colour lime green somewhere. As the designer I will leave it up to you how much of the colour you use whether it be a very small splash to a full on background. Finally I am hoping to get three image formats for the logo. .jpg .gif (some movement to catch the eye but not overly tasking for web sites would be a pluss) and a transparent .png filefor the web banner. These images will also be used on stationary and so I will need the quality to be god enough to print out without any degredation.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
