Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Information for the business: Our client is an engineering organisation that has its own set of tools for members to buy and use
Design details: We have flat projections of the three tools we need drawing in 3 dimensions. Once these tools are drawn and neatly rendered in grayscale, we will present them to our client who will be taking the visuals to the council of management who will then make a decision on whether to proceed with illustrating the remaining 40 plus tools in their catalogue.
The tools do not need to be drawn to a precise scale, they just need to be made to look 'optically' correct. All the dimensions of the tools will be listed in a table of measurements that my client produces themselves. These illustrations are intended for use as quick referencing imagery of all of the tools available in the catalogue.
The illustrations must be drawn slightly off the horizontal to show proportional depth, width and length of the tool. The angle should be matched throughout the set of the tools should the pitch be successful. We need three tools drawn for our client to take to his council of management at the end of next week (6/12/13) so we need all three tools drawn by Monday 2nd December so we are able to present them to our client on Tuesday 3rd.
Target audience: Engineers
Ideas for the visual style: 3D with greyscale rendering to show the metal material
Things to avoid: Colours other than grey!
Preferred colors: Grey
Where the design will be used: Catalogues in print and PDF download
Extra notes: Illustrations should be drawn in vector format and supplied to us in AI or EPS format.
The PDF attached shows the flat projections that need creating in 3D and two rough sketches that our client has approved but requested that the angle be changed so that the tools are flatter - move the bottom left hand corner upwards slightly.
More details can be obtained once the job is placed with a freelancer.
