Design details: 1. The game is a medieval battle game, so the overall style is medieval England (castles, sieges, knights etc). But it should appeal to families, so nothing extreme, gory or erotic.
2. The game will consist of 30 unique card designs, each one of will have a thumbnail/icon picture at about 600x300px centred on the bottom half. These icons will include weapons (Trebuchet, battering ram etc), Fort, Land, and concepts like "Fortune", "Mutiny", "Sabotage" etc. The cards themselves will be poker size (825x1125px, portrait layout). Each card should also have some kind of atmospheric wash as a background (probably a translucent scene of a landscape with a Fort, or a medieval battle, or something like that). And each card will have a title and some explanatory text within in.
3. A stylised logo for the game name (which has three words)
4. Additionally, I will need an illustration for the box, which could be the same as the one used on the background of the cards. This will need to be 3450 x 2700 px, and should include the name of the game within it.
The overall illustrations can be fairly simple as long as they look good. Line drawings, ink & wash, watercolour would all be good.
I will be able to send through file templates for the above requirements if necessary.
Ideas for the visual style: Medieval, fantasy, family-suitable
Things to avoid: Anything extreme, gothic or erotic
Where the design will be used: Primarily print
Extra notes: The attached files are stock photos from Google that are just to illustrate the kind of style I'm looking for - they are not part of the game.
