Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
The purpose of this job is to populate some of the web pages (probably in the Member's Area) on the Polearmball website with images that represent a possible "look" that a female Polearmball player might have. I need illustrations of a woman with a polearm. See examples I have uploaded. The female Polearmball warrior should be athletic, mysterious, sexy (but in this instance privates well covered), confident, coy, and look as if the polearm is a part of her identity. Please understand that the website is for kids as well as adults. For this reason the girl will need to be demure. (sexy but not unclothed) Her private parts will need to be covered.
I will need you to see some examples that the illustrator for the rule book has done. From that you could draw a Female Polearmball Warrior. The examples I uploaded for this ad are not the ones my Rule Book illustrator drew. If you join The American Polearmball Association (it's free) then you will have access to the pics and illustrations present in the member's area of the website.
If you look at the illustrations and photos in the member's area then you will have a better idea of how to fit your character to Polearmball. The polearm in Polearmball is called a Javel. The Javel is special and I need you to draw an accurate stylized version of it.
At this time I am looking for one picture. In the future I need over 100 more. I am not looking for Michelangelo, or Leonardo Da Vinci, or Rembrandt at this time. I am not looking for 3D or anything extraordinary. I wish I were but the website is not that extravagant. Basically you can be as generous as you are willing to expend. However, when it comes to cost I am looking for something economical due to the volume of illustrations I require in the long run plus the other expenses of developing a website and launching a new sport. In quality I will accept from line sketches to any level you wish to achieve based on economy. My price range today is 20 to 60 dollars. No promises for future commitments.
However, it would be nice to find someone who is economical and intuitive about learning Polearmball so that they can replace the artist who has worked with me for over a year and is resigning. This former conscript is the 8th artist to work on the Polearmball project which the other artists found too difficult. The difficulty is to draw the figures in the context of Polearmball. Since Polearmball does not exist in the real world at this time then the artist must use imagination based on the rules of Polearmball to draw proper scenarios. This has been nearly impossible for everyone except for the 8th artist who has been drawing for me the past year. If you think you can be intuitive about Polearmball and draw in its context using patience to learn about the sport then you are a good candidate for me. This job is a test. If you show me interest, research, intuition, accuracy, creativity, and timeliness then perhaps we have a future.
