Started in Dallas, Texas in January of 2010 reFINEstyle.com was founded by Megan Masoner, Texas Christian University graduate and Southern Methodist University MBA graduate. reFINEstyle.com is an exciting start up business with over 8,000/ visitors per month to date.
reFINEstyle is an exciting online fashion community and marketplace for new and pre-owned luxury apparel and accessories offered at affordable prices. www.reFINEstyle.com.
Qualifications: reFINEstyle.com is seeking a qualified graphic design intern, with potential for opportunities post gradation. The intern must be working towards a college degree in graphic design or communication graphics. Must be a Junior or Senior, willing to work in Dallas, Texas. Hours will be 12 hours a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 4 hours). Salary: Minimum wage, and extensive training opportunities. Candidate will leave internship with a full suite of implemented design work for student portfolio. This opportunity will include daily published design work.

Job Description
Our interns learn about starting a business, entrepreneurship, social media, customer relations, office management, publicity, marketing, and business etiquette. The major responsibility for this role will be the creation of daily website banners, creation of advertisements, implementation within HTML, and other design related needs for reFINEstyle.com. Interns will additionally, assist with all tasks required in a busy environment such as answering phones, proofreading, editing, handling mailings and e-blasts, listing product, learning back-end business systems, shipping and logistics, coordinating events and social media promotions, and assisting with general business needs. Candidates will get broad exposure to the end to end needs of a small start-up company. Successful candidates must be self-starters, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, good manners and a willingness to speak up. Previous office experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office helpful.

Primary Objective:
• Implement real-time graphic design work including web banners, advertisements, and promotional materials.
• Build and create effective design work for a growing company.
• Build on Photoshop skills.
