Description
Will entertain proposals only from UK, USA and Canada with a degree in graphic design. To respond please confirm that you have a degree in graphic design and specify college. Without addressing my specific requests and location particulars, I shall designate your proposal as spam and let you deal with PPH for spanning. You have been warned. Quote amount will be a major consideration. I take this step because when I post, I am inundated with 40 to 60 proposals that do not qualify.

Hi
Can you clarify the job a bit more? If you want a website similar in all respects to the example site, why do you need a designer? The example is 3 pages, not two, but that hardly matters as it is such a simple site. Do you want this built as well as designed, and if so do you have a domain name and hosting already in place?
Regards
Adrian
(UK)Patrick B.18 Oct 2021Adrian, good afternoon:
Thank you so much for your continuing interest in my gig.
I was trying to find on the PPH site my comments to which you responded. Could n’t, one of the annoying things of this site.
That said, here are my responses.
1. We have secured the domain agavenny.com. A corruption of Abergavenny, a quaint Welch town where, as a boy at Clifton College in Bristol, I enjoyed a delightful vacation.
2. I have not selected hosting but that’s not an issue. I use Domain Racer or Name Silo, both inexpensive and based on the Indian subcontinent. That could be readily accomplished.
3. Thirdly, the current site is OK but I believe it can be improved by bringing to it the nuances of a formally trained graphic designer in matters such as the color palette, the design of the “Contact” page and any other issues that catch your interest.
4. When “About” is clicked, it should redirect the viewer to: https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/AGNY/overview
I did not consider this to be a page but, open to correction.
5. When I stated that the new site should mirror the existing one, I was thinking more of verbiage.
6. On the Contact page, in our address the Suite number is now 1046. The site will be: www.agavenny.com and the e-mail: info@agavenny.com.
7. For the moment, my preference is to work on the graphic design. I have a very competent developer in India who has created the attached draft versions of the Home page I would like to use:
Version 1 https://invis.io/EW11MMNFK7RF#/457641910_AGNY_Desktop_vs1
Version 2 https://invis.io/EW11MMNFK7RF#/457641909_AGNY_Desktop_vs2
I have the source codes as well as the logo in a vector format.
My developer is quite competent but she is a developer not a graphic designer so, in all probability, she would undertake the build out. So, your task will be the graphic design, initially. I do like her home page very much.
The issue I have with her landing page is that the fonts for the corporate name are a tad large. Well, I suspect that you will wish to review the fonts in particular and the spacing of the navigation bar verbiage, top right. My strong preference is for understated elegance.
8. Yes. Word Press is my preferred platform.
9. The graphic design should be for desktop, tablet and mobile.
10. Finally, I shall be seeking two additional quotes so, please give it your “best and final” shot.
Renewed thanks.
Patrick
