Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hi,
I am based in London and have a background in jewellery design and manufacture as well as a career working in finance. I am currently looking to launch my second jewellery business. I have a product idea and drawings which I have attached which I want to get made into prototypes and ultimately get manufactured.
With your help I would like to:
1) Turn my drawings into an accurate 3D image, i.e. view from above, side on and front on etc. I have limited experience in terms of 3D modelling and the relevant outputs, but I am after similar style images to the ones from your portfolio attached of the red handbag (but for a bracelet obviously). My ultimate goal is to have images of a prototype product that I can take to manufactures and my branding agency.
The design of the bracelet is part leather (the strap, this is a watch strap) and part precious metal (the central bar - e.g. gold, silver, rose gold and black rhodium), initially I would just like to get one example image (with burgundy red leather strap and yellow gold central bar) to see if it is what I am after, if it is good then I will most likely look to get you to produce others with different colour combinations.
2) As part of your design and modelling I need you to assist me in designing a mechanism to link the middle metal bar to the leather watch strap. I need to make this as simple as possible to make interchanging central bars simple. The link cannot be too chunky as I want to keep the overall design sleek and luxurious with the focus very much on the central bar. However given the luxury nature of the product it needs to be robust. I had an idea for a possible design but you can hopefully come up with something better. I envisage the link using watch pins to link the leather strap to the central bar.
It would be great if you could let me know if you could:
a) help with the above in terms of designing a mechanism and creating an initial image
b) how much a) would cost.
Many thanks,
Kind regards
