Design for an Event Poster and Flyer

Information for the business: Spoken Word Poetry Event
Design details: Hi,

I need a design for a poster and some flyers for a Spoken Word Poetry Event which is a fundraising event for 'Sheffield Green Party' (local political party).

I have no ideas on what type or style of design I'm after as long as its eye grabbing. It needs to appeal to a wide group of people and therefore don't want it to be politically themed as the event itself is not politically themed. It's just that the event is fundraising for a local political party.

I have also attached the logo of the Green Party as I want it in the design but somewhere sneaky and discreet. This link has all the Green Party Logos which you can download:

Regarding content for the poster and flyer, I really don't know. As long as it says it's a fundraising event and maybe "An evening of thrilling Spoken Word Poetry from amazing local poets. Something along those lines.
