Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need a logo designed of a mascot for a website.
The basic idea for the mascot is a black Labrador retriever wearing a white lab coat. I have included a couple of links below that show the type of dog I have in mind.
The dog will be used as part of a website that performs statistical analysis, so it is important that he not look like a medical doctor. Also he should not look too much like McGruff the Crime Dog.
The dog represents a statistician who is about 55 years old. He should have glasses, but no earpieces. He should have a greying muzzle. The image should be from the waist up with the dog's head turned slightly to the side. He should appear content and confident, but not quizzical or playful (no tongue hanging out).
I don't know what would be best for him to be wearing under the white coat. He might have a shirt and tie, or it might just be a sweater. He can have pens in his pocket, but please do not over emphasize a "pocket protector".
He may be holding something. This could be a clipboard, a data printout, or a calculator. But only use props if necessary.
This is an initial job which may include future work. The dog will be part of the "tour" that users of the website take and in the future I will need additional poses. As such, please give some consideration to how the dog's features could be used to express emotions. These include, "Not do this", "This is good news", "Here is the right way".
I would like a quote for a fixed price and I would like a delivery schedule.
In the classic tradeoffs of speed, quality, and price, I am prioritizing quality, then speed.
