I need a prop/ weapon digitally sketched (imaginary)

I am working on a super-hero sort of character who can view other people's thoughts and adjust memories. The character doesn't have any powers however, is a good inventor. Therefore, I would like a prop/ weapon designed to be able to do this. The only ideas I currently have is a device in the form of a headband however if you have any other ideas, please feel free to contribute. I would like an A4 page with sketches from different angles, digitally sketched in Photoshop using different layers.

Please also provide annotations next to the sketches, explaining what different parts of the prop does. Prop must be relatively intricate, no simple objects.
