Description
Experience Level: Entry
Hello there,
I've been drawing for 20+ years and have become a little busy over the last few weeks, thought I would see if someone would like to help with doing the 'as existing' drawings for me.
Here's a sample area of one of my surveys, I normally do 3-5 Bedroom houses of typical size (this one is internally 12 x 9.4m at the first floor, slightly larger ground floor footprint. What's requested here is ground and first floor CAD drawings, drawn the way I do them (template supplied) including wall (internal/external), door and window positions.
I'm just seeing what kind of prices I can expect, I've used a few places who I paid per hour (not PPH) and they claimed a test job took them 4 hours, when I know I could have done it in 1-1.5 hours. I completely admit that I have an advantage, having seen the building and walked around it. But it was a very simple 360 sq. m. part residential/part commercial building with just 8 rooms.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Here are a few side notes, who ever does the job gets:
All survey notes
An AutoCAD template with my preferred layers and window/door methods
a legend showing what my scribbles mean (for example "R" normally means recess of a window, etc.)
Other notes:
No PDF versions are necessary, screen shots will do as proof (if required)
No need to setup the PS, this is all in MS.
Units are in millimetres, but you will see that from the template
You need reasonable written English skills
You need to accept feedback - you don't have to act on it, just acknowledge it.
REALLY IMPORTANT: If you get stuck because my notes are bad, PLEASE stop and just ask (Use Microsoft Paint or similar to indicate where your confusion is). My surveys are not perfect and nor am I!
Thanks in advance,
Bob
