Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
Hi, I am starting a personal project to build my own robot using 3D printing. Rather than simply printing the open source robot designs I would like to create my own version of them (something more personalized). Without delving into too much detail, I am looking for someone who can modify an existing cad design for a robot by making some parts larger, shaped differently...etc.
Here is a link to the open source project I am referring to which I would like to modify: https://github.com/poppy-project/poppy-humanoid/tree/master/hardware

Please contact me if you are interested and we can discuss details.

Many thanks,
Hadi Esper

UPDATE (9/3/2016):
Some more details about my requirements. As you can see from the link about the robot in question has all its open source CAD files published. The work required is simply to increase the size of the robot by exactly 50% while maintaining the dimensions in the joints.

The joints are basically where the motors (that create movement in the robot) are mounted. So the motor dimensions and joints will all remain the same, but the dimensions of the plastics between the motors should be larger by 50% (or longer in some cases). For example: The top end of the forearm has a motor, so the screw holes inside that should maintain the same spacing between them, but the forearm itself should be 50% longer. Each component in the existing CAD design should be studied on its own, I already know what needs to be done and it is relatively straight forward. Once the job is awarded, we can have a video call or some sessions to discuss each component and what changes would be required.

In addition to the above, I would like to make a minor change to the torso by adding a small pocket that will house a battery pack. Details of this can be discussed later.

Thank you,
