I need to import a 3D file into Rhino (for mac) to enable me to work on it as a 3D object.
I have downloaded the Ordanance Survery OS Terrain 50 data which includes contours and land data, but I do not have the software or knowledge to interpret these files. They come as ESRI or GML. I only need a small area of the data to be processed, the county of Somerset.
The job is to take this OS data, convert it into a DXF or similar filetype that I can use in Rhino and send it back to me. I can provide the OS files if necessary or you can download it yourself from the OS site.
Basically I want to end up with a 3D model in Rhino that I can slice up and convert into 2D cross sectional lines.
