We are putting together a pitch to one organisation to fund an initiative to prevent food waste.
Objectives and Outline Requirements:

During a pitch we would like to illustrate our work and operating model and how this would be of benefit to the individual organisation.

We have specialist knowledge in the area of food waste prevention.
We have instigated ground breaking research, brought together key stakeholders and developed ideas which offer solutions of how to prevent food waste in the home (through consumer campaigns), in retail stores (with leading brands) and throughout the whole of the grocery supply chain.

The main purpose of these infographics and brochure is to show how we have the expertise and know-how to develop the right initiatives which will ensure extra funding from this source.

Key Audience:

1. Corporate business decision makers

Type of communication material required:

We require two traditional static infographics:

a) Animal infographic
b) Product infographic

Along with a 10-12 page brochure.

Both infographics will need to be landscape and follow the same structure and basic layout and we will supply the necessary key facts and figures.

Animal infographic:

Section 1 – Farm - Cow grazing in a field – key facts around feed costs, water, CO2 , farming costs
Section 2 – Wholesale – key facts around transport and slaughter
Section 3 – Process – key facts around transport, CO2, water, packaging, butchery
Section 4 – Retailer – transport costs, wastage, packaging waste,
Section 5 - Consumer – how much is consumed and how much is wasted

Potato infographic

Section 1 – Farm – Growing, key facts around water, and harvest to wholesaler
Section 2 – Wholesale – key facts around transport, water, wastage
Section 3 – Processor – packaging, use in potato products
Section 4 – Retailer – transport costs, wastage, packaging waste,
Section 5 - Consumer – how much is consumed and how much is wasted

Brochure

Section 1 – About us
Section 2 – key stats around food waste
Next steps – call to action

10 – 12 pages – between A4 and A5 in size.

We also require a library of all assets and graphics used within the graphic for future documents and presentations.
Infographics and brochures will both be used online and printed.

Content:
All key facts and copy to be provided by us.
All colours will be dictated by our brand guidelines.

Production:

Two infographics and a brochure and a library of independent assets for future use. Ideally all assets and infographics should be created in editable illustrator files to enable WRAP’s in-house team to update as and when they need to.

Timings:

Initial brief on infographic and brochure for designer: 19 January 2015
Production of infographic and brochure: 26 January 2015

Timings are fixed as the pitch date cannot be moved.
