Pub to pdf file conversion

Design details: I have two completed book cover designs that simply require conversion from .pub to .pdf. They are completed Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) templates that are ok except for one thing:
When I convert them to .pdf format and upload them for KDP to check before publishing they keep getting rejected because printer's marks remain visible.
The templates need to be checked that guides and other printer marks are not visible once the files are converted to .pdf.
I use MS Publisher 2016 and uncheck all boxes relating to guides and printer marks before saving.
I need to have the templates accepted as .pdf files by KDP.
Ideas for the visual style: Not required as designs are complete.
Things to avoid: No alterations to the designs.
Where the design will be used: As paperback book covers.
Extra notes: The Kindle versions are already published so do not alter the design of the book covers as they meet KDP requirements.
An email sent to me with the .pdfs attached is all I need.
