Description
Experience Level: Entry
I need some animations to help explain our garden sprinkler controller to potential licensees of our patent.
I don't need a full video, I just need animations that I can stitch together and add captions and voiceover.
Here is a video of the device: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEhLNdFXt2M
Attached is a really crappy thing to give you an idea of what I'm trying to do.
Animations:
1) Someone buying plants at a garden centre. Does not necessarily need to be animated
2) A home owner digging in the plants they just bought - hard work
3) Sun is shining. Garden sprinkler is watering the plants
4) Cross section through soil showing that the water is not going very deep
5) Showing that the roots are growing very shallow, towards where the water is
6) The soil has dried out (maybe some wiggly lines to show evaporation). Roots are shallow. Plant is dying.
7) Soil is waterlogged. Roots are going rotten. Plant is dying. This should also show the sprinkler as in frame 4 to make it clear that sprinkler has been left on too long (maybe a clock face with hands going round).
8) Sprinkler is on. Bucket fills up to 25 mm, water trickles down to 300 mm. Roots grow deep.
9) Sprinkler is on, but then stops after 7 seconds as a result of the rain gauge on the right (see video) telling the thing on the tap to turn off the water.
I hope this makes sense. Ask me if anything is not clear. I am not really fussed what style of animation this is, so long as it conveys very clearly what problem our device solves, and how it solves it. The key problem we are solving is "I don't know how long to leave the sprinkler on!".
Don't take too much notice of the guide price below.
