Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: We teach pronunciation
Industry: Education
Design details: We want to create an animation of a mouth and jaw (basically the lower half or lower third of a face) so we can have it replicate pronunciation sounds.
The model would need to be female ideally.
The model would be used to create a series of 47 animations. Each animation would be the model saying one sound. Each sound lasts approximately half a second or so.
The model would need to be very accurate in terms of the lips and tongue and jaw and cheeks. Basically if you were looking at someones mouth close up as they said the word "eye" and the word "tea" so you could see exactly what their mouth was doing from an observers point of view.
I'm not entirely certain if it's plausible to use this method or if it would be better to go with pure video recordings. However I feel that a animation would be more customisable. We could easily make minor changes to the background colour of the animation, or to the sounds we layover the animation etc.
Let me know what you think
Target audience: 18 - 28 year old students studying english
Ideas for the visual style: it's up to you, but the more realistic the better probably
Things to avoid: avoid sending me a copy and paste job application as they're easy to spot and I'll ignore them
Extra notes: I'll attach an image of a mouth. If we could make a model like this I would be estatic.
Edit : I know nothing really about animation but I found these two interesting videos
This one is interesting because of the controls

This one is interesting because of the range of expressions and realism

I only need points around the mouth, lips, jaw, tongue to be able to be moved obviously, but I thought the above 2 videos were interesting.
