Description
Experience Level: Expert
Thanks for your interest in my project!
I am looking for a talented designer to translate a floor plan for my dental office into a compelling visualisation of what the interior could look like.
I want a luxurious contemporary feel similar to a boutique hotel, spa or bar rather than a sterile clinical look. We are aiming to create a comfortable, safe and relaxing atmosphere for our patients and any design features that can contribute to this within the space restrictions will be looked upon favourably eg, small water features, lighting accents, aquariums or plants.
The surgery and sterilisation areas should be more clinical and functional but carry across some of the colour/brand themes if possible.
At the moment the foreseen brand colours are lime green + dark brown and this must be reflected in the interior design. I am completely open to other combinations of colours to see what is possible as the brand colours are flexible at this juncture.
This is a new start up practice being funded on a moderate budget. Finances are tight and I do not want money wasted on unnecessary flamboyance.
The designer must show some awareness of this and be precise and reserved in the use of bespoke items and glass partitions/doors and other high price design features. I am willing to accept the use of some of these to give the practice a "wow" factor if you must.
Creative ways of delivering wow factor at low cost will be looked upon very positively and if you can demonstrate this either through a portfolio or any other means this will aid in my decision making on what bid(s) to choose.
Finally from the hundreds of architects, graphic designers and interior designers on PPH its very difficult to choose one based on limited information and portfolios that are not specific to my project.
Therefore I am posting this job in the hope of finding the "right" person or people with talent, flair, vision and financial awareness of costs of materials and finishes to create or collaborate in the creation of the final design for which there will be additional remuneration.
In essence I am running an audition for designers/architects to deliver value and demonstrate their skills and to see if they are mutually compatible with my vision.
So what I would like from you is a fixed fee quote of how much it will cost for you to deliver me something that demonstrates your talent and make me want to work with you. You must specify what exactly I will get for my money were I to accept your bid for example illustrations, 3d visualisation, walk through, detail on finishes etc.
In terms of ongoing work....
If possible, you should also include a quote for what your hourly rate (with estimated hours) or fixed fee for providing detail on the finishes, specifications and detailed drawings etc and whatever else would be needed for a contractor or builder to be able to provide a quote for the delivery. If you are UK based and can submit an application for fire/building regs please provide a seprate quote for this
Service and Engineering drawings will be provided by equipment suppliers.
If you are unable to provide any details on finishes but feel you would like to contribute from a purely interior design/visualisation/artistic point of view, then I will consider your bid provided you clearly state this and outline what exactly you will provide for the fee you are quoting.
I realise that this is an unusual request and I am happy to provide any clarifications or answer any questions. I am not an architect or designer so I expected to be guided by individual freelancers as to what value they can provide and to ask the appropriate questions so that we can set the expectations correctly from the start.
I will review generously but accurately on all accepted bids so please be clear on exactly what I will get from you and do not promise what you cannot deliver.
